    Water is made of a combination of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. There are two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen in every molecule of water.

  • At what temperature does water boil ?
    Water boils at 100 degrees Centigrade/Celsius (at normal pressure) and freezes at 0 degrees Centigrade/Celsius

  • What is the chemical formula of water?
    The chemical formula of water is H2O.

  • In what forms can water be found?
    Water can be Solid Ice, Liquid Water, Gaseous Water Vapour and Steam (condensed vapour).

  • Has water any taste, smell or colour?
    Water in its pure form is tasteless, colourless and odourless.
