Our Helping Hand Tariff

Household income of £21,000 or less? If the answer is yes, we can help to cap your water supply bill.

You could be eligible for reduced water supply bills from us if you have a low income, or are in receipt of specified benefits.
To qualify for the Social Tariff you’ll have a household income of less than the Government’s low income threshold, which currently is £21,000. If you receive any of the following benefits that take you over the threshold, you will still be eligible for the Helping Hand Tariff:

  • Universal Credit – Child and Housing Cost Elements
  • Housing/Council Tax Benefit
  • Personal Independence Payment/DLA
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Pension Credit
  • Mortgage Interest Relief
